In these works, I started from the surface of a leaf of my Syngonium Pink plant, which is simultaneously pink and green. I wanted to enlarge and abstract it. I wasn't striving for mimesis, but rather for conveying a feeling. I painted on raw, thin, translucent canvas using the soak-stain technique. For me, these leaves radiate calmness and security, serving as a kind of refuge in urban life.
